Dear Parents,
Now that things have settled down and the students have gotten into a routine, we have taken a few minutes to send you some items of interest and information.
SCG Parish Dinner Dance is Sat., Nov. 14th. We have raffle tickets for sale, $5.00 for a book of six chances. Send in the money and we’ll fill out the chances for you.
The students will be able to get H1N1 vaccination in school, with your approval. We will alert you to the dates when we are notified.
Please respond to any notices you may have received from the medical room/nurse’s office.
Lunch prices have not yet been published to us by the DOE Dept. of Food and Nutrition. We will advise you as soon as we are informed. Your cost will be retroactive to 9/21/2009.
Please have students in complete uniform for class pictures on Tuesday, October 20th. Individual and graduate pictures will be on Friday, the 23rd.
Boy/Cub Scout leaders will be visiting the classes on Thursday, the 22nd to encourage your sons to join the troop here at St. Catherine. Look for that information.
Complete gym uniform is required on gym day. That means your child must come with tied sneaker laces and sweatshirt labeled with his/her name.
Change in Nov. calendar: There will be no school on Friday, Nov. 20th. It is a diocesan-wide professional day for teachers, administrators, and staff.
This year we will again hold the Cason Pie and Cake sale. This sale is not part of the required fund raising. The sale will run from10/30 until 11/12. The deliveries will be made on the Mon. or Tues. before Thanksgiving.
Ideal Uniform: Please send to school the list of those uniform items that you are missing. We will place the order with Ideal. Remember to add sizes where appropriate.
