Welcome to the Fifth Grade
I know it is hard to believe that it is that time of year again - the beginning of a new school year. Welcome back! The summer has gone by so quickly and it is now time to start a new and exciting school year. In the fifth grade you will be taking many steps to prepare you for junior high and your future. I am looking forward to taking those steps with you for a very happy and productive school year. However, I cannot do this without your help. We all must be partners in this learning process to ensure that each of you has a motivating and safe learning experience. I have been working really hard to prepare the classroom for this academic year along with new work, projects, and activities. Once again, I wish you all a warm welcome back and I am sure we are going to have a great year ahead of us as we embark upon this educational journey through the fifth grade!
